Important Information for Tenants Before Your Appointment

To ensure everything runs smoothly and safely, we’d like to share a few important things before your scheduled visit from a Mactec Electrical technician. This helps us complete the work efficiently—and with minimal disruption to your day.


🕒 Before We Arrive

  • We’ll Call You First:
    Our technician will always call before arriving and will do their best to arrive within your agreed time block. This allows you to plan your day with confidence.
  • Please Answer the Phone:
    If we can’t reach you, we can’t attend. Our technician will call three times. If there’s no answer, they will move on to their next appointment, and you’ll need to reschedule at a more convenient time.

⚠️ Before We Start Work

  • Power Interruptions:
    There will be a temporary power outage during the electrical check. Please plan ahead—charge devices, finish cooking, save your work, etc.
  • Clear the Work Area:
    Remove any obstacles, furniture, or materials from the work area and secure all pets away from the technician. This helps us work quickly and safely—and keeps your furry friends safe too.
  • Safety Footwear:

    Our technicians are required to wear safety boots under Occupational Health & Safety regulations. However, they are always clean and professional. If you would prefer the technician to wear protective boot covers, please request this with our office staff when booking in the work so we can ensure the technician has them available on arrival. We are only too happy to accommodate you.


🌧️ Weather & Safety Conditions

  • For safety reasons, our technicians cannot work in the rain or in unsafe conditions—especially on wet roofs or outdoor areas during poor weather. If conditions are unsafe, your appointment may be rescheduled.
