Acceptance of any quote automatically constitutes acceptance of the following Terms and conditions.

Pleaser refer to all our other terms and conditions as they are applicable as is the following.

Any verbal quotation either over the phone or in person is a provisional sum only and must be taken as such.

Only parts/services specifically Itemized and accounted for on the quote will be honored.

The quote is valid for the specified time given only. If the quoted is accepted after this period Mactec has the right to alter and/or change the scope of work and/or costs.

Site and Installation Requirements

The site/installation where the work will be conducted must be:

Compliant with current regulations. The quote does not cover any additional work for it to become compliant with regulations AS:NZS 3000:2018 and/or any other standards that may apply.

Free of obstruction so work can be carried out in a timely manner.

Must have ease of access for all vehicles and personnel to site.

Must have ease off access so work can be carried out as per quote unhindered.

All work must be unhindered.

Free from obstacles and obstructions: Including any other contractor, materials, design & construction issues, also including any unforeseen circumstances not mentioned.

Preexisting Condition Disclaimer

*By engaging Mactec Electrical for services, you acknowledge and agree to the following:

  1. Age and Condition of Existing Structures: Mactec Electrical shall not be held responsible for any damages, defects, or issues that may arise due to the age, condition, or deterioration of existing structures, materials, or components, including but not limited to timber, concrete, wiring, plumbing, or any other elements. It is the responsibility of the property owner to maintain and address any preexisting conditions.
  2. Force Majeure: Mactec Electrical shall not be liable for any damages, delays, or failures in performance caused by events beyond its control, including but not limited to acts of God, natural disasters, unforeseeable structural issues, or any other force majeure events that may impact the provision of services.
  3. Indemnification: The property owner agrees to indemnify and hold harmless Mactec Electrical, its employees, agents, and contractors, from and against any claims, liabilities, damages, costs, or expenses arising out of or related to preexisting conditions, including but not limited to the age and condition of existing structures.
  4. Professional Assessment: It is recommended that property owners seek the advice of qualified professionals, such as structural engineers or inspectors, to assess the condition of existing structures before engaging in any services provided by Mactec Electrical.

This clause is intended to inform and protect both parties by acknowledging the potential influence of preexisting conditions on the services rendered by Mactec Electrical. It is essential that property owners take proactive measures to address any preexisting conditions or concerns.

By engaging Mactec Electrical for services, you accept and agree to the terms and conditions outlined herein.

Mactec Electrical reserves the right to update these terms and conditions at its discretion.*

If any of the above terms, conditions above are not met or if any variations are needed due to unforeseen circumstances and/or other factors that Mactec would be made aware of after the quote was accepted.  Mactec reserves the right to change the quoted amount and/or add any variation, amongst notifying you the client of the changes. If you DO NOT wish to proceed you must notify Mactec immediately at which point the services and materials supplied thus far will be due for payment immediately there after.

If you are deemed uncontactable and the variations are less than 10% of the total quote then this amount will be deemed allowable for us to proceed with out notification to you the client.
